Fortezza Winery is a small estate of 18 acres located in the beautiful rolling Sierra foothills of Auburn California, near California's Gold Country. We are growing the "other" Sierra gold. Here at Fortezza we are committed to giving personal attention and special care to each and every vine. We planted our vineyards in 2006 with Sangiovese, Petit Verdot, Primitivo and Viognier wine grapes. They have thrived in our warm climate. We are proud to present the wine from our estate grown vineyard to you this year.
Our beautiful, elegant tasting room is nestled in the peaceful setting of the lovely vineyards. It is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of wine and country.
